Emanate Health collaborates with community organizations to provide additional external resources to support the well-being of our patients, especially those undergoing cancer treatments.
Local Food Resources

- BenefitsCal: Provides aid in food, funds and health coverage. Apply online.

- Grab and Go Meals: Free meals for students 18 years old or younger. Contact your local school district for more information.

- Meals & Nutritional Programs for Older Adults and Families: (LA County and San Gabriel Valley) Elderly Nutrition Program Providers offer group lunches and meal delivery services for the elderly. Call 1.800.510.2020 for more information.
- National Hunger Hotline: Helps low-income individuals and families find local resources including meal sites and food banks. Available from 4 a.m. to 7 p.m. PST. - American Cancer Society: A nationwide community-based voluntary health organization that offers information on nutrition and healthy eating for cancer patients, including tips on maintaining a balanced diet during treatment.

- Cancer Dietitian: Provides personalized cancer dietician programs and lifestyle tips for prevention and survivorship. Fill out a request form to learn more.

In-Home Support Services
- In-Home Support Service: Helps pay for services at home to maintain a safe environment. Those who are 65 of age and older, disabled or blind are eligible for services. Applications are available in English, Spanish, Chinese, and Armenian. Find a local IHSS office to submit and application.

Substance Abuse Service Line
- Better Addiction Care: Available 24/7 to provide assistance in addiction treatment. Call 1.888.766.0149 to receive support.
- California Smoker’s Helpline: Find help through various forms of communication, from one-on-one coaching and texting to self-help materials. Fill out an intake form or text “Quit Smoking” or “Quit Vaping” to 66819 to receive help.
