WEST COVINA, Calif. – Emanate Health, the largest health care system in the San Gabriel Valley, is proud to announce the opening of its first-ever Outpatient Services center on the campus of Queen of the Valley Hospital (QVH) in West Covina. “At Emanate Health, patient and staff safety is our top priority,” said Jacqueline Bracy, MD, President of the Emanate Health Medical Group, which is an independent medical practice affiliated with Emanate Health.
“We adhere to the same zero-harm, cleaning and disinfecting procedures at Outpatient Services that are standard throughout Emanate Health. We require that anyone entering our facilities wear a mask and have their temperature checked. In addition, we have modified our waiting areas to allow for social distancing, staff wipes down all surfaces in patient rooms after each use, and sanitizes other common areas multiple times a day,” she said.
During the COVID-19 Pandemic, many patients have put off their health care needs. These include patients with chronic health issues, expectant mothers, others with physical pain and those needing annual physical examinations. Emanate Health Outpatient Services accepts many major health plans, including Medi-Cal, Medicare Part B, Anthem Blue Cross and Health Net, among others.
“From easy access to your medical records to telehealth options and online appointment requests, Outpatient Services provides patients with integrated health options to help make their health care experience more seamless and efficient,” Dr. Bracy said.
