Emanate Health Announces “Heart and Vascular Month” Activities in February to Promote a Healthy Heart

COVINA, Calif. ― February is commonly referred to as the month to know our hearts in health care. At Emanate Health, the largest health care system in the San Gabriel Valley, matters of the heart are also important because it will be hosting a series of events to mark “Heart and Vascular Month” in February to promote a healthy lifestyle and a healthy heart. Emanate Health Heart Care Center at Inter-Community Hospital (ICH) in Covina offers the most comprehensive cardiovascular services in the San Gabriel Valley. Visit heart healthy booths to learn important information about keeping your heart healthy. The health fair includes free body mass index (BMI), blood pressure, and cholesterol and blood sugar screenings. Enjoy a free cooking demo with heart-healthy tips, as well as free, light snacks and refreshments.
